Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) is a Malaysian public research university established on 18th May 1970, based in Bangi, Selangor, Malaysia. The Bangi main campus started operating in 1977 within an area of 1,096.29 hectares. British University Vietnam (BUV) is the first and only international university in Vietnam granted to deliver degrees by four renowned universities in the United Kingdom: University of London, Staffordshire University, University of Stirling, and Arts University Bournemouth. The Hainan Branch of the Institute of Medicinal Plant Development, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, was established in 1960 and is a subordinate institution of the Institute of Medicinal Plant Development, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and Peking Union Medical College. It is the only national-level public welfare research institute in Hainan Province specializing in the protection, introduction, cultivation, and development of Southern medicinal resources. The Hainan Branch has a highly capable professional team dedicated to Southern medicinal research and technology transfer, including over 80 research and development personnel in disciplines such as resource science, cultivation science, molecular biology, chemistry, and pharmacology. It also has over 100 personnel dedicated to technology industrialization transformation. The Hainan Branch has key innovation teams under the Ministry of Science and Technology's "National Innovation Talent Advancement Program" and leading scientific and technological innovation talents under the Central Organization Department's "Ten Thousand Talents Plan." As a main think tank for the development of Southern medicinal resources in Hainan Province and China, the branch has assisted the Hainan Provincial Government in formulating the "Construction Plan for the National Modern Traditional Chinese Medicine Science and Technology Industry Base (Hainan)" and the "Implementation Opinions on the Protection and Development of Traditional Chinese Medicinal Materials in Hainan Province." The branch adheres to the path of characteristic and advantageous development led by innovation, supporting the sustainable development of Southern medicinal resources in China and serving the national "Belt and Road" initiative.


Jiangsu Vocational College of Medicine is a full-time public vocational college under the governance of the Provincial Health Commission and is a demonstration vocational college in Jiangsu Province. Jiangsu Vocational College of Medicine is the executive director unit of the Medical and Health Education Professional Committee of the Chinese Vocational Education Association. The rest of the executive members are from various positions such as the Executive Director (from Medical and Health Education Professional Committee of the China Vocational Education Association), the Chairman (from the Rehabilitation Therapy Professional Teaching Guidance Committee of the National Health Administration), the Deputy Chairman (from the National Clinical Assistant Physician Qualification Examination Working Committee), the Initiator and Presidium (from the National Medical and Health Vocational Education Alliance), the Vice Chairman (from the Jiangsu Medical and Health Vocational Education Group) and the Chairman Members (from the Teaching Work Committee). The institution has 22 medical and health majors such as nursing, clinical medicine, preventive medicine, traditional Chinese medicine, and pharmacy. Jiangsu Vocational College of Medicine has always adhered to the joint development between the college and Yancheng city. Through this, its scientific research and social service capabilities have met significant improvements. During the past 5 years, teachers from JSMC had over 750 national, provincial and city-level scientific research projects undertaken, including 15 projects from the NSFC and 19 projects from the Natural and Social Science Foundation of Jiangsu. Teachers have won 38 awards including the Huaihai Prize for Science and Yancheng Natural Science Progress Award. 1300 papers have been published by faculty members of JSMC in national journals, in which 300 were published in Chinese core journals, 250 in SCI journals, and more than 760 national patents acquired.

Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Solapur University (PAHSUS) formerly ‘Solapur University’ was established in year 2004 by the Government of Maharashtra State, India. It is a young University with jurisdiction of only one district and has made substantial progress in academics and research within a span of 19 years. The formation of the University at Solapur was a long cherished desire of the people of this region and the people of the district have an emotional attachment to the University since its inception. University has received research grant of Rs 10 Crores from DST, CSIR, BRNS, CSIR, RUSA,RGSTC, ICSSR etc.  funding agencies.  University supports economically weaker plus having good academic record students through schemes like ‘Muli Shikwa Samaj Ghada’(Educate Women and Empower Society) and ‘Earn and Learn.’ University regularly organizes community engagement programmes and extension activities through NSS Unit. Presently university has introduced 146 skill courses, innovative or job-oriented certificate / diploma courses introduced under Skill Development Centre. These courses have been introduced after consideration of geographical conditions and requirement of the district and vision of development of Solapur district. Dhaanish Ahmed College of Engineering is located in Chennai, Tamilnadu, India. The college is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. The college has approval to admit NRI/FN students. The Dhaanish Centre for International Collaboration provides facilitations for admission of foreign students and to collaborate with foreign Institutions of repute for joint research and teaching.

While the College supports learning of the highest order through its quality infrastructure and eminent faculty, it also provides a wide scope for development of the personality of students through effectively functioning student clubs meant for professional, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. The Dhaanish School of Intellectual power house nurtures the culture of Innovation, Research and Entrepreneurship among the stakeholders through various Centres of Excellence such as Centre for Design – Godrej Disha, Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Research, Centre for Robotics and Automation, E-Vehicle Research Centre and Technology Research Incubation centre. 


Kasetsart University, in Thailand, was the first agricultural university and the third oldest university in the country. Kasetsart University is based in Bangkok, and now has four campuses, also making it the largest university in Thailand. Established in 1943, it promoted subjects related to agricultural science. Yet since then, the university has expanded its subject areas to cover science, the arts, social sciences, humanities, education, engineering, medicine, and architecture. The four campuses are in Bangkhen, Kamphaeng Saen, Sri Racha and Chalermphrakiat Sakon Nakhon Province. All 36 faculties are spread across the multiple campuses as well as 18 research stations, two colleges, nine institutes, four veterinary hospitals, and four radio stations.

The National Resource Centre for Chinese Materia Medica, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, was formally founded on December 18th, 2012. The organisation is a national platform that gathers the domestic research strengths and is based on the disciplinary advantage of TCM Resources in the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences. The Centre is undertaking a national survey on TCM resources, carrying out research on the foundation and application of TCM resources and the transformation of their achievements. At the same time, the centre is also establishing the mechanism of dynamic monitoring for TCM resources in order to promote the sustainable development of TCM resources and meet the health needs of all people.

The “TCM Resources Innovation Team” and "Chinese Medicine Ecological Agriculture Innovation Team" of the Centre are the key areas of innovation authorised by the Ministry of Science and Technology. The Centre is the supporting organisation for the State Key Laboratory of Dao-di Herbs and also the affiliated organisation of ISO/TC249/WG1 and 10 professional committees, such as the TCM identification professional committee of the China Association of Chinese Medicine, the TCM resource ecology professional committee of the Ecological Society of China, and other 8 institutions. Currently, there are 2 key research laboratories, 2 third-level laboratories, and 3 key disciplines authorised by the State Administration of TCM in the Center. Many research achievements have reached a domestic leading level, which includes research on the functional gene of the TCM secondary metabolites biosynthesis, molecular identification of TCM, regionalization and remote sensing monitoring for TCM resources, ecological planting and soil micro-ecological repair management for TCM resources, etc.


Dwaraka Doss Goverdhan Doss Vaishnav College, a linguistic minority institution, since 1964 empowers youth and imparts value-based quality education to 12,000 students in campus across diverse disciplines of arts, commerce, science, technology & management studies. Diponegoro University (Universitas Diponegoro-UNDIP), located in Semarang City, Central Java Province, is well known as Top university in Indonesia aims to be World Class University (WCU) with the vision of Excellent Research University. Founded in 1956, it is initially as a private university, but then earned the status of public university in 1961. Undip has 149 study programs in 11 faculties, 1 postgraduate school, and 1 vocational school. Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) is an Engineering and Technology University in Brunei Darussalam that specialises in the niche areas of Engineering, Business, Computing, Applied Sciences & Mathematics, and Design. UTB was first established in 1986 as Institut Teknologi Brunei (ITB), a higher learning institution offering Higher National Diploma programmes in Engineering, Business and Computing. Founded in 2007, Villa College is the leading private higher education institution in the Maldives.
